Anti-US Sentiments – A Concern for Business?









The Snowden revelations, domination of the internet by US companies and the ongoing critical debate about TTIP impact public opinion of US business in the EU. While the US is by far Europe’s most important partner in political as well as economic terms, US companies are increasingly concerned that these negative perceptions could impact their business in Europe.

In our latest snapshot we analyse together with our colleagues in Berlin, London and Paris some of the reasons why perceptions of the US have deteriorated and we explore how the transatlantic relationship is viewed in the three capitals.
