Women professionals in the field of competition from different backgrounds, including law firms, the European institutions and in-house specialists, joined us at the first of a series of FTI WIN@COMP events.
The room was buzzing with the numerous conversations on the latest competition law and policy developments. In particular the decisions Commissioner Vestager had adopted the same day against Luxembourg and the Netherlands for granting selective tax advantages to Fiat Finance and Starbucks were hotly debated.
The event was a great forum for many young women professionals to mingle with their peers, network, exchange views and build professional relationships. It was so popular that we had to promise there and then to organise a repeat in the near future. So stay tuned for the second edition!
