EU Data Economy: Let The Data Flow… Or Maybe Not?

As part of its Digital Single Market strategy, the European Commission has proposed a Communication on 10 January outlining policy and legal solutions that will unleash the EU’s data economy. Initial reactions by industry showed disappointment with the Communication across many sectors.

This snapshot looks into the potential of the EU’s data economy and provides an overview of the Communication.
